That’s funny, isn’t it to witness the slight changes that still hint to the same meaning?
A green hand does sound more capable. I wouldn’t know. Plants, in either language, are not safe in my care.
I do fine with plants:) but the green thumb had always seemed strange to me in comparison to the hand or the finger for British people. See you on Monday:)
