Happy Mother’s Day!

As I am ready to visit my daughter on her birthday, I am remembering this special day when I welcomed our first American-born child and celebrated my first American Mother’s Day.

Happy Motherโ€™s Day to each mom, mommy, mum, mummy, mama, maman and every other mother who celebrates today!

A special Happy Mother’s Day to first-time mothers and mothers who have left their mother land for the USA.

I wish you all a beautiful day filled with simple moments of joy and peace.

  1. And a happy Mother’s Day to you. We should make this a day for all women, everywhere.

    • Thank you so much, Marilyn. Every woman who nurtures a child, being hers or not, deserves to be celebrated. Being a mother is not always easy but my kids are my best gifts, regardless of the challenges.

  2. Happy Mother’s Day Evelyne!

  3. Mother’s Day love to you!

  4. Happy Mother’s Day and hope you had a lovely time Evelyne ~

  5. I really enjoyed reading the interesting post you linked to on the differences between France and the US regarding the attitudes about pregnancy and hospital care for childbirth. Happy belated Mother’s Day!

    • Oh thank you, Mona! I really appreciate your time spent reading my other posts. ๐Ÿ˜Š
Things have changed in both countries but before the big American health care reform the differences between France and the USA were stunning, especially in terms of pregnancy and delivery. Hope you also had a happy Mother’s Day.

  6. Behind the Story says:

I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day.

  7. I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day Evelyne! Such a beautiful photo. We have ours here in the UK in March. When I lived in California, Mum received two lots of cards and flowers, my brother’s in March and mine in May. Can’t be bad! See you soon my friend! ๐Ÿ™‚
